Purchased the HP Mini311 through Verizon Wireless as part of a broadband (3G) data package. The unit came with 2gigs of memory; a 160gb hard disk, and Windows7 Home Premium. I added a usb wireless mouse, a Microsoft 6000 bluetooth mobile keyboard, ZAGG usb external speakers and an HP external DVD drive. Total outlay of less than 0. (Of course, I pay per month for 3G service but I have to connect to the internet when traveling even when I don’t have access to wifi so that was a necessity.)
Everyone loves the netbook for its portability, affordability and functionality. With all of this has been said, even the biggest fans of the netbook would sometimes wish that the netbook a bigger screen, a comfortable keyboard and a little more processing power has. All this is now possible with the new Acer Aspire AS1410-2285 11.6-inch laptop.
Although this is technically a laptop model that has many of the features previously only exclusive to netbooks. One of the biggestFactors that contributed to the success of the netbook would be in his price and the Acer Aspire AS1410-2285 has sought to emulate too. Despite charge, set of data, the 11.6-inch laptop model is priced at only about $ 399 per unit, which is only $ 30 - $ 40 more expensive than the average netbook.
This is my first Mini that I bought to replace my big bulky Dell laptop. Don’t get wrong I loved my laptop, but not very protable. The HD screen on my Acer is crystal clear. I can even read the small fonts. When i got the laptop, it freezing up after about an hour. I called Acer & they gave me a service code number. I sent it in to the reapair shop and got it back with a new hard drive a week later. By far the best customer service I have enounterd yet. Signed a very happy customer. P.S Amazons customer service is great as well
